Welcome to Compelling Interest.  Here you will find topics ranging from the very serious to the utterly silly, but hopefully all of it will be interesting.  If nothing here is interesting to you, I'll bet you will find something here that would interest someone you know, so send them on over.

Me?  I am just your typical guy: musician, father of two, was married once...well, your typical musician, anyway.  You'll find out more about me as you read from the Categories listed on the right.

First-Time Visitors: I recommend that you click on any of the Categories that interest you rather than viewing things under "Recent Posts."  The posts within a category begin with the first ones I composed, and then you scroll down chronologically.  Often, posts I've written recently have been built upon earlier posts within the same category, so they make more sense if you've read the earlier ones.  This is especially true of, say, the Uruk-hai stories (those big, ugly fighters from The Lord of the Rings).
